Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

    Day 1 : Pune / Mumbai - Nashik

    Nashik is one of the world's holiest Hindu cities. Kumbhmela is held here once in 12 years along with four other cities in India. Lord Rama along with Lakshmana and  Sita spent 14 years of his exile at Tapovan near Nashik. The city was ruled  by Mughal in 16th century and was renamed Gulshanabad. Then it was ruled by Peshwa of Maratha Empire in 1818. It is also noted for its participation in freedom struggle. Freedom fighters like Veer Savarkar and Anant Laxman Kanhere were born in Nashik.
    Known for its beautiful and picturesque surroundings, flourishing valleys, Nashik is home to many vineyards and orchards. Today, Nashik is rated as one of India's fastest growing cities. The city saw a fast uplift of development from 2002 with malls, multiplexes, infrastructure, educational institutions etc. Nashik is known for its pleasant and cool climate, picturesque surroundings, high standard of living, greenery and well-developed infrastructure.
    Hindu religion has faith that, Lord Rama the King of Ayodhya made Nashik as his home during his 14 years in exile. At the same place Lord Laxman by the blessing of Lord Rama cut off the nose of Surpanakha and thus this place was named as "Nasik"(From Sanskrit word 'Nasika'). Several other references to the Ramayan era can be found in Nashik, which includes the Sita Gumpha from where Sita Lord Rama's wife, was abducted by Ravana. Nashik was believed to be the country's largest marketplace.The city got its present name in 1818 .

    Start journey from Mumbai / Pune and proceed to Nashik.  Reach Nashik in afternoon. Visit the holy temple Kala Ram, Panchwati area and other temples.  Evening check-in Hotel in Nashik.

    Day 2 : Trambakeshwar 

    Trimbakeshwar temple is a religious center having one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is its three faces embodying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra. Due to excessive use of water, the linga has started to erode. It is said that this erosion symbolizes the eroding nature of human society. The Lingas at Trimbakeshwar are covered by a jeweled crown which is placed over the Gold Mask of Tridev (Brahma Vishnu Mahesh). The crown is said to be from the age of Pandavs and consists of diamonds, emeralds, and many precious stones. The crown is displayed every Monday from 4-5 pm (Shiva).All other Jyotirlingas have Shiva as the main deity. The entire black stone temple is known for its appealing architecture and sculpture and is at the foothills of a mountain called Brahmagiri.Three sources of the godavari originate from the brahmagiri mountain. Introduction of the holy place Shri Trimbakeshwar After breakfast proceed for Trambakeshwar. Take Darshan of lord Shiva. In afternoon proceed for Shridi. In evening check-in Hotel. Night Halt in Hotel at shirdi-holiday-travel-packages.

    Day 3 : Shirdi - Pune / Mumbai

    Early Morning take the darshan of Shri Sai Baba. After Breakfast proceed for Shani Shinganapoor. This village is famous for not having doors in the houses. No house in this village is having doors. Take Darshan of Shri Shaneshwara or Lord Shani Dev. After Darshan return to Pune / Mumbai.
