On arrival at Guwahati Airport Pick up & proceed to Shillong (140 kms / 4 hrs drive approx). En route witness the Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines & peerless beauty.Check-in Hotel and if time permits visit Cathedral of Marry and Ward's Lake. Evening free at leisure to explore the region on own. You may take a walk to the famous Police Bazaar for shopping. Overnight in Shillong.
Depart after breakfast for a Cherrapunjee day trip. Visit Elephant Falls en route. At Sohra, enjoy Duwan Sing Syiem viewpoint. Witness Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) and Nohkalikai Falls in Cherrapunjee. Explore Mawsmai Cave, then Dainthlen Falls. Return to Shillong for overnight. Note: Waterfalls may be dry in winter.
At 8 AM, depart for Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village, exploring Khasi culture. Trek to Rewai to see the living-root bridge. Then, drive to Dawki for a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River and visit the Bangladesh border. Overnight in Shillong.
After morning breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to kaziranga , it is the World Heritage Site & oldest park in Assam which is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India's threatened mammals. There are numerous other major wildlife fauna.
After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora. Later visit Orchid Biodiversity Park, enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga. Note: Elephant ride is not included and can be taken at additional cost (5-30 A.M/ 6: 30 A.M./ Subject to availability / operation and allotment from forest department).
After breakfast check out from hotel at around 11 am and drive to Guwahati. Guwahati, 'The light of the East' is the commercial capital of North East lying adjacent to the shores of the turbulent. upon arrival check in at hotel & overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast check out from hotel & visit Maa Kamakhya Temple it is considered most sacred and oldest of the 51 Shakti Peethas on earth. Then explore Assam State Museum & Fancy Bazar After that you will be dropped at Airport to catch a Flight for your onwards journey. Your tour ends here with sweet memories of your Tour.
